    The Opportunity

    This position works out of our region Frankfurt/Oder, Cottbus, Dresden, Görlitz, Chemnitz in the division Abbott Diabetes Care - Abbott GmbH. We’re focused on helping people with diabetes manage their health with life-changing products that provide accurate data to drive better-informed decisions. We’re revolutionizing the way people monitor their glucose levels with our new sensing technology.

    Your tasks:

    • Driving profitable growth in the assigned region
    • Driving profitable revenue growth through volume, account and expense management, both through market share gain, market and account analysis
    • Leading, developing and coaching a high performing team in generating business results (a team of 8-12 direct reports)
    • Monitoring, analyzing and reporting on competitors’ products and strategies, and recommending appropriate business response to the management
    • Driving profitable revenue growth through volume, market share gain as well as account and cost management
    • Successful execution of country product launches within the assigned region
    • Ability to drive digital transformation within subordinates to leverage quickly the adoption of the digital health tools
    • Ability to lead cross-functional projects with a broader business scope to penetrate business segments even faster
    • Selling Skills performance improvement within region (especially with regards to “closing skills”)
    • Creativity & curiosity in our Sales tactics to accelerate the new spirit of “FreeStyle Libre”
    • Travel: Approximately 80%

    Your qualification:

    • MBA or equivalent post graduate diploma or University degree and relevant job experience
    • Ideally international exposure through education and work within an international corporation
    • Experience in translation of strategy into sales tactics and successful execution
    • Motivating & supporting a high performing Sales team to achieve Sales Excellence
    • Establishing a team culture of flexibility, desire to succeed and the will to be open for changes and out of the box thinking
    • Guiding Sales Reps to more in-depth and scientific calls (“Libre consulting”)
    • Very good German and good English skills
