Job Description: Amazon Germany/France Sales Executive

  • BASED ANYWHERE IN GERMANY - MUST BE SELF EMPLOYED
  • NATIVE GERMAN SPEAKER OR 15YEARS+ LIVING IN GERMANY

About the company:

AFG Media own some of the best costume brands in the world, including Morphsuits and Fun Shack, and the spectacular golf clothing brand, Royal & Awesome. We are an international, multi-channel retailer and our core area of expertise is Amazon Market Place. We’re growing quickly, have a team of over 50 people and are based in central Edinburgh. We work really hard so that we get lots done, continually get better and build a great business.

About the role:

We are looking for one new candidate, a German & English speaker to manage our range of costumes through Amazon Market Place and especially in Germany. This is a great opportunity for a hardworking person, considering a career in e-commerce, to learn all about selling on Amazon.

Key Responsibilities:

To deliver the sales target for your market by applying a variety of Amazon techniques and tactics including (we’ll train you on all of these):

  • Keyword research and content creation
  • Pricing
  • Advertising
  • Amazon listing management

Required Skills:

  • Native/Fluent German and English speaker and familiar with local culture
  • Can complete complex pieces of work and projects
  • Strong Interest in e-commerce (Amazon) and digital marketing
  • Highly Numerate
  • Good written communicator
  • Good Excel capability and comfortable with data analysis

Required Attitudes and Behaviours:

  • Ambitious and passionate – wants to play a key part in building a great business and is keen to become an Amazon expert.
  • Works really hard and gets lots done. While we are a 9 to 5.30 office hours / 5 days a week business - we do need to do extras at peak times and all our team is happy to forget the clock occasionally when works needs be done.
  • Is persistent, commercial and resourceful.
  • Works collaboratively to clarify, improve and deliver what the business needs.
  • Takes inspiration and best practice from wherever it can be found – books, podcast, competitors.
  • Implements and improves processes to maximise efficiency and accuracy.
  • Raises standards for the business, your team and yourself.
  • Approaches tasks in a structured and well thought through way.
  • Can effectively explain and sell a plan or a proposal.
  • Deals well with ambiguity and change.
  • Is confident expressing and debating ideas in groups.
  • Data driven.

Additional Information:

Monday – Friday. 9.00am - 5.30pm UK TIME

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: 24,000.00€ - 26,000.00€ per year
